Open Horse Show Report
From June 18th, 2011 Show
We had a great turn out for this years show. It was a beautiful, warm sunny day as several riders and drivers
came to show off their horses, training, and riding skills. This year we had a very high attendance of both competitors and
spectators. Medals and ribbons were given out in 11 different divisions. The judge this year was John Sullivan and the trail
judge was Kelly Richie. The show ran smoothly despite some gliches like not having a food vendor. We had to find a food vendotr
at the last minute and were unable to do so. Fortunately, we were able to get the word out quickly so many people brought
theri own food and Little Italy Pizzeria was able to deliver food to the park.
The show would not have been possible if it weren't for
the many volunteers. first we would like to thank the horse show managers, Marcia Gamache
and Dawn Archambault. The did a great job making sure the show ran well. Mark Girard
did a great job of the announcing and Jen Moreau worked tirelessy at the Secreataries booth. The horse
show commitee did the planning months in advance. Katie LaCroix, Jen Moreau, Marcia Gamache, Dawn Archambault, and
Diane Godek. Thank you to all who attended. See you next year.
